This project transformed an ageing and fragmented rear garden into a refined, resort-style outdoor retreat that better reflects the calibre of the home and its setting. The design focused on improving functionality, flow and long-term durability, with new travertine paving, reconfigured pool fencing, custom concrete seating and a shaded pool cabana creating a seamless connection between the alfresco and pool areas.

A restrained material palette and layered planting scheme deliver a calm, low-maintenance landscape with a strong emphasis on comfort and usability. Standout features include the curved concrete daybed, custom roof structure with integrated lighting and fan, full pool refurbishment, built-in BBQ area and feature stone-clad wall framed by lush tropical planting. Every detail was carefully considered to create a cohesive outdoor space designed for entertaining, relaxation and everyday living.

Mark Tisdell surprised and delighted us with his innovative design.  Consultations with Mark have been comfortable and he was always willing to discuss any of our reservations, queries and suggestions.
